If at first you don't succeed ...

You know the saying: If at first you don't succeed, try, try again!

At the moment, I have a lot of preparation to do for our move in less than two weeks. Beading isn't part of that preparation! But I have had an idea swimming around in my head that I simply couldn't put away, so every "free" moment I've had has been spent trying out this design idea.

I've spent many hours now trying different approaches. I've bezelled and CRAW'd, netted and peyote'd. But I can't seem to get the look I want. I WILL, eventually, but at the moment, I'm not satisfied.

So this morning I cut everything apart and spent some Zen time sorting the beads back into little piles. Some people might call this a waste of time, or an annoyance. For me, it's as much a part of the Zen of beading as the actual beading is!

I will get what I want in the end, but not today. For now, it's back to the beading board!
